Black Project Calshot Castle Trophy

Calling all Stand Up Paddleboard enthusiasts! Partnering with The SUP Company, we're stoked to announce the Black Project Calshot Castle Trophy, the grand finale of the electrifying 2024 GBSUP National Series. Set against the backdrop of the historic Calshot Castle on the stunning Calshot Spit shoreline, this marquee event promises fierce competition, a vibrant atmosphere, and a chance to etch your name in GBSUP history.

A Race for Every Paddle:

• National Series Climax: Witness the culmination of the season's dedication and grit as paddlers vie for the coveted National Series titles. Cheer on the competitors and be inspired by their achievements as they crown the season's winners.
• Open to All Levels: Adult Fleet Racing: Experienced paddlers can push themselves to the limit on the challenging 8km course designed to test their skills and endurance. Challenge Tour: Newcomers to the sport can find their place in the 4km Challenge Tour, offering a welcoming environment to experience the thrill of competitive SUP racing. Junior Events:  A full schedule of races for upcoming champions, with shorter courses and dedicated competitions throughout the day.

Hosted by Calshot Activities Centre:

We are delighted to be working with Clahot Activites Center, which is welcoming our event and providing safety and site facilities for competitors and spectators alike. The site offers many exciting water and land-based activities for all ages and abilities. The historic hangars accommodate the tallest climbing wall in the South, an indoor velodrome, a dry slope, and so much more. With beautiful beaches, views of the Isle of Wight and instant access to both sheltered and more challenging waters

Family Fun by the Castle: 

The Calshot Activities Center transforms the event into a day filled with fun for the whole crew. Play areas will keep the little ones entertained, while a variety of activities provide opportunities for the entire family to get involved. There's something for everyone, whether cheering on the racers, trying your hand at a new activity, or simply soaking up the beautiful coastal scenery.

More Than Just a Race:

The excitement doesn't end on the water! Saturday, October 5th, 2024, marks the date for this epic showdown. As the day winds down, a special awards gala will be held to honour the winners of the GBSUP National Series. It's a night to celebrate the season's achievements, camaraderie, and passion for SUP racing. Stay tuned for further details on this highly anticipated ceremony.
