About the event
Get ready for the pinnacle of UK stand-up paddleboard racing!
GBSUP is proud to host the 2026 British National Championships in the iconic and historic setting of the Liverpool Docks.
This is the ultimate weekend of competition, bringing together the nation's elite paddlers for a thrilling showcase of skill, speed, and endurance. For the first time, our three key formats will be combined into one action-packed championship weekend, with athletes battling it out in:
Sprint Races: Explosive, high-intensity dashes for the fastest paddlers on the water.
Technical Races: A demanding test of agility, power, and strategy on a multi-turn course.
Distance Races: The ultimate trial of endurance, pitting competitors against the clock and each other.
The stakes have never been higher. Athletes will be competing not only for the glory of becoming a British National Champion but also for a coveted spot on the international stage.
As the official selection event, performance at the 2026 Nationals will determine the GBSUP team for both the ISA and ICF World Championships. This is where dreams of representing Great Britain are made.
Join us in Liverpool for a spectacular weekend of elite racing and witness the crowning of our 2026 champions!
